“Something about reading a period piece from when you were in college that is a little sobering, but this book just rocks. Set against the backdrop of NASA finally allowing women into the astronaut corps during the Space Shuttle program, Reid delivers characters who are compelling - flawed in many ways, but you root for them just the same. The pacing is perfect - brisk without being rushed, enough detail to deliver the story but not so much that it ever gets bogged down.
