“Modern Romantasy always has some of my favorite world-building. Sara Raasch is able to build a solid magical world layered over our own without me questioning the mechanics too terribly much. Just a quick run down on all the tropes I loved in this one: found family, enemies to lovers, trauma bonds, healing past traumas, class imbalance, and (I forgot to mention) trauma. Both our male leads and our supporting cast were lovable. I am excited to see the next instalment in this universe.
