“This cozy fantasy in the world of The Spellshop is the first notes of birdsong mixing with winter sunshine. It’s a snowy evening spent in front of a fireplace, with fresh bread, warm soup, and the comfort of quiet company. A balm for a weary soul.”

“A beautiful, cozy fantasy set in the same universe as Sarah Beth Durst’s The Spellshop, this book is a pleasant, enjoyable read. I love the premise as well as the characters (which include sentient plants!) You don’t completely NEED to have read The Spellshop but there are a couple things that will be more impactful if you do.”

““Even though he hadn’t known her, hadn’t meant to save her, had only meant to help his greenhouse, he had changed her life. He’d given her a second chance.” Imagine bundling up against the falling snow amidst the quiet woods only to stumble into an enchanted greenhouse, warmed by its own suns, and filled with magical plants and creatures! This newest novel from Durst is the embodiment of cozy fantasy. As you explore the greenhouses with lost and lovable main character Terlu, deep themes of isolation, belonging, found family and second chances begin to bloom. I loved the grumpy x sunshine pairing of the two main characters that grew into a very sweet, closed door romance. There’s an underlying message about protecting your values at all costs that has really stayed with me after reading; the importance of standing up for what you believe in. Grab this novel if you want some cozy magic, honey cakes, singing flowers, a winged cat, and the cutest mini dragons ever!”

If you enjoyed The Spellshop, you will love the grumpy gardener, the curious librarian, and the eccentric group of sentient plants this book has to offer. I don't know if there will be more books in this world, but I certainly hope so!”

“The Enchanted Greenhouse is another story in Sarah Ann Durst’s charming world of the Crescent isles. I absolutely adored her first book, The Spellshop, and was delighted to see what happened to Kaz’s creator. It was lovely to see the call backs to the first story and I was enchanted with this story of shyness, forgiveness, and family reconciliation. If you need a beautiful cozy fantasy with a sweet wholesome romance, look no further than Sarah Ann Durst and her adorable stories!!”

“The Enchanted Greenhouse by Sarah Beth Durst is a delightful low-stakes fantasy with found family and sentient plants. It's so funny, but it also deals with autonomy and integrity and childhood wounds, just not in a way that drags you down a whole lot. I enjoyed every minute.”

This wonderfully narrated romantic fantasy has just the right touch of whimsy.”—AudioFileNew York Times bestselling author Sarah Beth Durst invites you to her new standalone novel set in the world of The Spellshop! Follow her to The Enchanted Greenhouse, a cozy fantasy nestled on a faraway island brimming with singing flowers, honey cakes, and honeyed love.Terlu Perna broke the law because she was lonely. She cast a spell and created a magically sentient spider plant. As punishment, she was turned into a wooden statue and tucked away into an alcove in the North Reading Room of the Great Library of Alyssium. This should have been the end of her story. Yet one day, Terlu wakes in the cold of winter on a nearly-deserted island full of hundreds of magical greenhouses. She’s starving and freezing, and the only other human on the island is a grumpy gardener. To her surprise, he offers Terlu a place to sleep, clean clothes, and freshly baked honey cakes—at least until she’s ready to sail home. But Terlu doesn’t want to return home, and as she grows closer with the unwittingly charming gardener, Yarrow, she learns that the magic that sustains the greenhouses is failing—causing the death of everything within them. Terlu knows she must help, even if that means breaking the law again. This time, though, she isn’t alone. Assisted by Yarrow and a sentient rose, Terlu must unravel the secrets of a long-dead sorcerer if she wants to save the island—and have a fresh chance at happiness and love.Funny, kind, and forgiving, The Enchanted Greenhouse is a story about giving second chances—to others and to yourself."Fans of Studio Ghibli's animated films will enjoy the way Caitlin Davies performs this enchanting story....
