Every time I wanted to put this down to go do something else, the story would shift into high gear and send me reaching for another cup of coffee to keep up. I can’t quite put my finger on why, but this book really reminds me of All The Colors Of The Dark the way that it spans many years with characters all coming and going. The final couple of twists actually made me restart the audiobook to listen to the first few chapters.
